We’ve been planning and backup planning.
The who’s and how’s and clothing, decoration and food occupy my mind.
Tonight, I realized many of plans (and troubles) were only possible because we have the funds to do so… And so we had turned our blessings into woes with our desires and plans.
And our Heavenly Father knew.
For tonight, He said this:
“… Don’t worry about these things, saying, ‘What will we eat? What will we drink? What will we wear?’ These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your heavenly Father already knows all your needs. Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.” — Matthew 6:31-33
Lord, You know the plans, procedures, and expectations.
Will You lead us in each choice and decision, that Your presence may be known by us and seen by all.
May You calm and comfort, may we choose not for cost and for our own glory or to glorify any other but You.
